Can my child trial a class before committing?

We have a discounted rate for a 2-week trial which we recommend before a child joins us. 2 weeks will allow students to fully experience our classes, knowing what to expect each week and getting to know the other students in the class before deciding to join.

Our class fees are paid by direct debit on our ClassforKids system. We run 36 classes a year therefore spread the cost of the year into twelve monthly payments to help keep the monthly cost as low as possible and easy to budget for parents.
You will not be refunded if your child misses a class.
At Shining Star Performing Arts, our T-Shirts are compulsory to wear at classes each week. We have other optional Merchandise such as Hoodies & Varsity Jackets.

Yes of course, we welcome new joiners at any point during the term.

In our experience, we notice that children settle into a class quicker, pay more attention and enjoy the classes without a parent or a carer watching as it tends to be distracting for the child and other children in the class. Parents are only allowed to settle a child in for their first class in rare circumstances when the child is feeling quite uncomfortable. All of our venues have a cafe and a seating area where parents/carers can sit and enjoy without having to leave the venue.

We ask for one calendar months’ notice of cancellation. For example, if you give notice on the 15th April, your payment on the 1st of May will still come out and you will be allowed to continue attending classes until the end of May.

We offer a 10% sibling discount which will manually amend. when you set up your direct debit. Please note that you need to set up the direct debit first in order for us to amend this.
